Tower Pro BMC-30A ESC

1. Make sure the Brushless motor is connected to the ESC 
2. Set the Throttle stick to full ( 100% ) 
3. Plug the battery or turn the switch on 
4. The brushless motor will produce a musical note and a steady tone. 
this will be the setup menu, for each menu you will hear the tone 3 times before it moves to the next menu

menu 4 ∮— — — — Protection voltage 

5. To enter the menu you will need to move the throttle stick to the middle or 50% throttle. 
6. This will let you enter the submenu 


submenu 1. CELL Type and Number 
• — NiMh/NiCd AUTO(0.8V/CELL*) delete this default setting before using 
the speed controller. 
• — — 2 LIPO (7.4V) 
• — — — 3 LIPO(11.1V) 
• — — — — 4 LIPO(14.8V) 
• — — — — — 5 LIPO(18.5V) 

submenu 2. BRAKE SET 
•• — NO 
•• — — SOFT 
•• — — — MID 
•• — — — — HARD 

submenu 3. TIMING MODE SET 
••• — 2 º for 2-4 grade motor 
••• — — 7 º for 6-8 grade motor 
••• — — — 15 º for 10-14 grade motor 
••• — — — — 30 º for 10-14 grade motor 

submenu 4. Protection voltage 
•••• — 2.8V/CELL 
•••• — — 2.9V/CELL 
•••• — — — 3.0V/CELL 

The tones will also be repeated 3 times on submenu. 
5. To save the submenu settings, move the Throttle stick to full "100% " a long tone will be 
produced meaning setting is saved. 
6. To save ALL submenu settings, move the throttle stick down to 0 throttle. an acknowledgement tone will save all the settings. 
7. Settings will be saved even after removing the battery.
